Two Third-Party Administrators Select DAVID’s NavRisk Claims to provide enhanced web services to client base
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – March, 25 2008 – DAVID Corporation, an innovative provider of Insurance and Risk Management software, today announced that Pegasus Risk Management and Freese & Gianelli, two divisions of The Simon Companies, have selected NavRisk as their claims management and portal software solutions. They selected NavRisk Claims for its intuitive user interface, comprehensive reporting analytics, and configurable business rules engine. They also selected NavRisk Central to be both their internal and client facing collaborative risk management work space.
Both companies are leading third-party administrators that provide claims services to insurance carriers, self-insured organizations and government agencies. Pegasus Risk Management administers workers’ compensation claims and related services and Freese & Gianelli administers claims for numerous lines of business such as Auto, General Liability, Property, Inland Marine, Medical Malpractice, and Errors & Omissions.
NavRisk Central empowers Pegasus and Freese & Gianelli to securely extend claims information globally to their clients through a web-based portal, eliminating cumbersome and paperbound processes. Additionally, the embedded business rules engine of NavRisk Claims will provide both companies with greater flexibility to accommodate individual client requirements as well as provide agility in adapting to new regulations and statues, ultimately reducing the claim cycle.
NavRisk Claims and Central are part of the NavRisk Suite, a comprehensive risk management solution which facilitates highly effective underwriting and policy processing, automates administration and management of claims, provides online collaboration between internal and external stakeholders and offers sophisticated loss control and prevention capabilities. The complete suite consists of NavRisk Policy, NavRisk Claims, NavRisk Central and NavRisk Catalyst.
“Employing technology to best serve our clients has always been a critical component of our corporate mission and strategy. We chose NavRisk to not only meet our internal claims management requirements but to also help improve collaboration and communication among our claims adjusters, clients and trading partners as well as provide enhanced self-service options to our clients. Additionally, NavRisk will help us manage our ongoing growth,” stated Jeff Simon, CEO of The Simon Companies.
“DAVID is delighted to partner with Pegasus and Freese & Gianelli to provide services to their clients through NavRisk’s state-of-the-art technology and rich feature set,” stated Alex Aminian, President and CEO of DAVID Corporation. “NavRisk Claims and Central will not only help dramatically reduce claims processing life cycles, but will help facilitate their aggressive growth strategy through its ease of configuration, and quick implementation.”
