Webinar sponsored by the Golden Gate Chapter of RIMS

Wednesday, May 11, 2011 1:00 pm Pacific time

In this webinar, Dr. Feinberg will cover strategies for evaluating, addressing, and reducing the need for and cost of future medical care when preparing a Medicare Set-Aside. These strategies include early assessment of the potential for delayed recovery, ways of improving medical outcomes through functional restoration, and ways to accurately calculate only those costs for which an employer should be liable for future medical care. He will address proper prescribing of medication, especially opioids, and how to work with physician providers to decrease costs associated with medication overuse. Dr. Feinberg will also provide tips on how to evaluate physician reports regarding future medical care and provide you with the right questions to ask and have answered before you begin the calculation of the MSA.
