Webinar overview:
It seems that everyone is obsessed with health these days, from countless advertisements about weight loss programs to hit TV shows dedicated to helping people lose weight, and essentially helping the contestants change their lives. A study by NCCI last October states that "work-related injuries are far more costly if the injured worker is obese. The dramatically higher medical costs suggest that the types and nature of injuries sustained by obese workers, especially the 'morbidly obese,' are more likely to result in permanent disabilities*." The rising costs of healthcare affects employers across the board, and as a result, many organizations are providing internal wellness programs to their employees. But what if organizations integrated wellness programs with safety and workers' comp?
Join DAVID Corporation and Comp Cost Solutions for a webinar in which we will:
- Discuss prevention measures to reduce workers' comp losses and associated costs
- Provide information on empowering your organization and your employees to become stakeholders in the process
- Equip you with data to help affect change within your organization
