POSITION OVERVIEW
The Account Manager is responsible for providing premier client service and software technical support to all clients. We are seeking a proactive individual with experience and knowledge in supporting software applications, superb client service skills and excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities. The candidate will provide a high level customer service to assigned clients by creating a positive relationship. The Account Manager position represents a balanced customer relationship management effort involving account management skills, software design and support with excellent problem-solving/solution skills, and acting as a liaison between clients and the development team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing all client implementations, providing ongoing product management and software technical support after installation.
- Analyze problems and develop solutions for clients on all DAVID products on a wide variety of technical and creative issues within established timeframes.
- Test new features of software releases including bug fixes.
- Work with the application development group to conceptualize and define reported problems/bugs, formulate alternative courses of action and determine best solution while providing timely communication and follow-up to clients.
- Manage and/or participate in multiple cross-functional projects, conducting assessments and developing solutions.
- Ensure quality delivery of all deliverables that meet customer requirements and timely delivery.
- Assist the Sales Department with demonstrations and proposal generations.
- Conduct user and product training and develop training materials.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must have 3 -5 years working and supporting software applications.
- Exceptional project management and client service skills.
- Must be comfortable discussing a wide array of products and technologies, and confident when interacting with highly trained technology professionals.
- Ability to clearly present information in both verbal and written word; read and interpret complex information.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and across functions within customer organizations to gain commitment, obtain resources and achieve desired results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a project team.
- Must be self-motivated, well organized, possess an attention to detail, able to work well under pressure, and complete projects within established deadlines.
- Willingness to adjust work schedule to accommodate project deadlines.
- Experience in claims management/risk management and insurance highly desired.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows platforms, including the registry, SQL Server 2000/2005, IIS, and Windows file system structure.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- BS/BA degree or equivalent plus minimum of 5 years of client services experience
- 3 – 5 years of software support experience is a must
- Exceptional communication, organization & customer-service skills
- Must be a creative problem solver, able to think and work on the fly in a dynamic environment.
LOCATION
This position is located in our San Francisco office and we are only looking for local candidates
